anyway--

it's been tough for me as of late, I won't lie. I've gotten hate comments blasted at me for being as optimistic as I am, but these aren't exactly people I should be listening to. You guys though? Yeah, you're basically rewriting my brain on the regular, incentivizing me to dig into things and research them. i especially like it when people are like "hey you aren't QUITE correct here, lemme explain" so that im not just accidentally oversimplifying something.

well! we've a lot to talk about, don't we? seems like everytime I decide to have a break something big happens. last time, the BBB got passed. this time, trump backwards sommersaulted his spraytanned, glittery asscheeks butt first into a government shutdown. now he's trying to make it seem like a win on his part, which nobody's falling for.

on top of that, there's the whole kerfuffle with the military where he just started spouting nonsense in front of them and nobody was having it. seriously, people were terrified of that whole thing, and yeah I admit I was spooked too-- not because I expected or even considered martial law, but because of more military occupations in cities.

then, he admitted to basically embracing project 2025, which-- lmao alright grandpa lets get you to bed.

seriously, that thing went from my number one biggest fear to just kind of a stack of papers that is collecting dust on russ vought's shelf where he keeps whatever the hell else. he's too much of a background shadow to even make a stereotype out of. hey, someone make fun of him for me!

either way--- all this stuff is not the behavior of someone winning. literally the opposite.

so i have a sort of fucked up hypothesis for the future, bear with me, it's good news at the end of the day--- Trump was a necessary evil. he smooth-talked his way into winning independents getting an ABSURD win. for people like me, btw, i thought it was proof that america was full of evil back last year-- but almost a year later, and i couldn't've been more wrong--

but the point to all that is, it's great that he's horrible at his job, it's great a grand majority of his abhorrent bullshit has fallen on its faces, and its especially great that anytime he points a gun to the head of the country, the country asks "hey, what's the deal with you and jeff?"

people are more politically aware than i've ever seen. thanks in part to doomerism spooking people into researching. maybe the trolls are good for something, after all. either way, things are shaping up to be INSANE when it comes to how midterms are looking. every day makes me more optimistic for then, even when there's bad news.

realistically speaking, i could go on a mental health vacation for MONTHS and not know the difference as Trump's imaginary empire gets kicked into little itty bitty bits of dust.

i'm rambling again aren't i.

i'm tweaked out on cold medicine and running a fever of 100 f, so i'm a little loopy and out of it, but i hope any of this was intelligible.
