Do senior leaders work most weekends in the US?

Thinking about relocating from the UK to the US. I have a young family and don’t really work weekends at the moment so I spend a lot of time with them. Napa Valley is a seriously attractive proposal but I’m worried that I’ll end up working every weekend, leaving my wife to deal with the kids and me having limited time with them. I understand that restaurants are busiest at evenings a weekends and I’m fine with that but just want to know what the balance looks like.
