Just cancelled my preorder because …

I don’t want to sour the Xbox Ally devices for anyone and I hope people who get them will have a lot of fun but I wanted to explain my personal reasons why I am not sticking with it and maybe discuss

False marketing - the slogan “this is an Xbox” pisses me off immensely. It’s really not easy understanding what these devices are, namely a portable pc with a dedicated gaming launcher preinstalled. They are and never will be an Xbox. You can stream Xbox games, same as with a smartphone for example and you can continue playing a handful of “play anywhere” titles IF you own them on PC and XBOX. With the increased GamePass prices… yeah good luck with that.

And secondly constant price increases. Hardware, game prices, gamepass, you name it. Why, for what, for whom? The playerbase is shrinking as it is on Xbox, why drive people away with constant price increases? Crazy world we live in
