I’m at my wit’s end with this memory leak

Troubleshooting

Currently, I’m facing a problem where my games start to slow down significantly the longer I continue to play. Frames skip and skip at increasing frequency and the audio cuts out more frequently until I can barely hear or understand what’s happening in the game. I cannot get through 30 minutes of Hitman without my game beginning to lag significantly. I cannot get through only complete 6 rounds of Tekken 8 Arcade Mode before my system starts sputtering. The only game that seems to be unaffected is Farlight 87, but every other game (even Hades 2!) seems to chug after anywhere between 15-30 minutes of playtime.

The issue initially reared its head several days ago after the latest hotfix of Dying Light: The Beast, which is the game where I first noticed the issue. I’ve since been monitoring my temps and I usually stay between 50s and 70s when gaming, depending on the game. I’ve had a few BSODs citing “memory management” as the error. This, along with some light research online, led me to believe the issue was rooted in my RAM sticks. I initially tested them, removing them and running them one-at-a-time. I opened Windows Task Manager and monitored memory usage to see if there were any abnormalities or odd fluctuations in activity, or perhaps any stray programs taxing my RAM right under my nose. This yielded nothing. When I noticed that one of the RAM sticks wouldn’t even let me launch any games without crashing, I thought I’d identified the problem. I returned what I believed were faulty RAM sticks to the store I bought them from. I chose to purchase a new pair of RAM sticks so I could still use my PC while waiting on the verdict from the manufacturer to tell me whether they were truly damaged or not. I just slotted in the new RAM sticks earlier and did some testing. To my dismay, the problem remains. Looking these things up online tells me there’s a memory leak somewhere. But with the RAM sticks replaced, I have no clue whether it’s a driver issue, a windows issue, a hardware issue - I don’t know what to do anymore and it’s confounding me to no end. Help!
