Since I somehow got chosen by a person to become the Progressive Party Chair, I am pausing the presidential primaries to have a new Chair election so the Progressives can fully decide who to choose as their Chair. This pause will also allow us to negotiate with our allies.



Also, here are the reforms that will be in the internal structure of the Progressive Party:



1. Introduction of newProgressive, which will allow us to accept more Democratic Socialist members.



2. New leadership positions such as:

Party Chair

Parliamentary Leader

Head of campaigning

Secretary-General

These positions will require elections.



3. Official party positions on issues, endorsement lists, and party leadership, which will be decided by the members.



4. Head counts and party manifestos shall be required each month.



5. In order to register as a Progressive, you should have the name tag beside your name and answer the Google form/chat with a Progressive leader.



6. Party consultants will be hired and shall be decided by party leaders on the basis that they are vetted properly.



7. A constitution shall be decided after the presidential election and after the previous points are done.

8. The UIPA NGO will be incorporated to the Progressive Party internal organisations.





The Progressive Party presidential primaries will be suspended until the next election after this presidential to further discuss coalition talks and to decide if the Progressive Party will affirm me as their party chair.
