Relatives had bed bugs, party is coming up

Relatives had bed bugs. They bagged their beds and self treated. They said the last bed bug they saw was a week ago in a bedroom.

They’re hosting a small get together in the living room only, in about a week.

I have young children and I’m not sure it’s safe to go.

What would you guys do?
