Luteal mucus?

Okay, so, right now Im supposed to be in luteal phase, in 3 days I have to get my period. What worries me is that my whole luteal phase this month, mucus was same as in ovulation- slippery and stretchy, like eggwhite? Is it normal, because its supposed to be more dry and thicker, more white?
