Noob questions. (very noobish) can you help me. invalice

I have not played this type game for a very long time, last game I played was Vandal hearts on ps1 and loved that game, wish we could get an updated version with great graphics.

Just bought invalice and ok.. a little lost, I am sure if i delve into the game the info will be in there but hoping you lot more experienced players can ease my way into the game. Im playing on the ps5 pro.

1. Why would they hid the cutscenes in menus? why not give a prompt on screen so you can watch them, I love cutscenes as they help with immersion for me.

2. why cant we zoom further out, its frustrating, feels like i am fighting to get a good view

3. Why cant my archer shoot or hits things that are on a sloped square?

4. I didn't even know how to change class , why is it called job?

5. does positing really matter? i move a squire to front of enemy .. 12% damage hit.. if i move to back or side.. still 12% damage. So whats point?

6. my main character had stone throw ability... now at the sandy rat map, it has disappeared why?
