Any broken war build tips for SP? (Gauss related)

I just finally invested into building a frame and gun for steel path since ive been avoiding for some time. I picked a build from knightmareframe for my gauss and a phantasma prime that got from YouTube. The only thing i would actually need would be a melee and the broken war has been my go to ever since i got it. So is there any tips for building it that could play well with gauss to deal good damage?
