Ditch generic survey forms, here’s how we got richer testimonials
Generic “How was your experience?” forms give you “good” or “great” at best. We needed deeper insight, so we built a custom Feedspace form that asks three specific, outcome-driving questions:
- “What was your biggest hurdle before using our product?”
- “What exactly changed for you after two weeks?”
- “Any unexpected benefits or surprises?”
Why this rocks:
- Actionable depth: Instead of vague “loved it,” we got stories like “I used to spend 3 hours on reports, now it’s automated in 10 minutes.”
- Higher response rate: People appreciated the focused questions, and our submission rate jumped from 12% to 28%.
- Repurpose-ready: These rich narratives turned into case studies, ad copy, and onboarding tips, all pulled straight from the form.
Setting it up took under 10 minutes: added the three fields in Feedspace’s form builder, styled it to match site, and set the invite to go two weeks after signup. Now every testimonial teaches us something new about user needs.
