Does anyone know if its okay to use rosemary oil?

I wanted to try dropping in a few drops of rosemary oil into my shampoo to help with hair loss, but when I used to take birth control pills I remember reading that rosemary might interact with it. Does this apply to nexplanon, and if it does, does it even matter if I'm only putting it on my scalp?
