My experience with Blue Vine so far
I waited on my ERC checks to get here for over a year and a half and finally got them and deposited the smallest which was $12,000 Plus into the Blue Vine account and I expected to wait until the check cleared as I do have common sense. The funds appeared around 6:00 p.m. on October 1st 2025 and I had planned a trip out of town for business the same evening as I anticipated the funds to hit after calling to make sure the deposit would be posted. As soon as I got notification I went to the local convenience store up the street put $46 in fuel to fill my tank and I needed some cash in case of emergencies plus this being a new account and card I wanted to definitely feel confident so I went into the ATM and tried to withdraw $200. It declined I thought maybe I didn't look at something correct on my limits so I decided to do an odd amount and go down to $120. Now I'm kind of shaky about this so I decided to go to the bank ATM and let's give her a try. I entered $600 at the bank ATM and it worked amazingly. Now I feel pretty confident in the card. On my way back to pick up my things needed for my trip I get a notification from Blue Vines that my account is on hold for my protection. I tried to call the number that it gave me to find out they're not open. I canceled my trip now because I'm upset I have no access to any money whatsoever in this account. The next day I'm livid I'll call in I'll talk to some girl pretty rough and then I asked for a manager or actually demanded a manager and after he listened to my concerns if you will he told me that within 3 hours I should be able to access the account again. 4 hours go by and I'm not able to do anything and they've updated requirements now that I must send in my ein letter a picture of me holding my license which I had already done before upon opening the account and they also want my recent taxes filed which the latest I have is 2020 I'm behind on filing. In my opinion I would have asked for all of this upon opening the account and accepting a large deposit but I don't care if it's $5 if they're willing to do business they should have standards set from the get-go not after taking and holding your money. I'm going to comply as well as I can to open this account and as soon as I do I'm going to get that money out and be done with them but if I'm needed in any kind of lawsuit add me in no problem
