What do people really want?

I been trying to find the kind of solution people are looking from anything they do and I just want to know, is it clarity on why things are the way there are, how life works, what the purpose of life, how to make money to get what exactly, is it peace of mind, happiness, fulfillment.It would be nice to know and I was wondering if I could get some input.
