Is this normal???

So I am a first year student sharing a 2 bedroom apartment at ICON with an upper year student.

He's asked me if he can being a friend to just crash in, and I was like sure why not one night is not gonna hurt me.

Its gone from one night to 3 days, on a weekly basis!!! I come for only 4 full days and he stays for half the time. I don't hate the guy but its just an inconvenience since its a small apartment and he takes up the living area + kitchen table.
