First time building Combat Patrol

Hi everyone!

I've decided to start my Warhammer adventure by choosing Dark Angels Combat Patrol. For the Lion!
I have a few questions about assembling models. My only experience with assembling models is from Lord of the Rings over 20 years ago.

I know that Combat Patrol has limited rules for specific model variants, but I would like to assemble my set with the future in mind.

Does it make sense to magnetize any of the squads?

According to the Datasheet, the Sergeant in both squads can have different weapons (although the Chainsword and Handflamer options are not included in the set). Additionally, the Intercessor Squad can have up to 2 Grenade Launchers.

Apart from the above examples, are the other “options” purely cosmetic? For example, according to the Combat Patrol instructions, models should be assembled in a specific position (weapon in both hands). Is the option of replacing the magazine or knife + pistol purely aesthetic and has no impact on gameplay?

The questions may seem silly, but I wouldn't want to later regret gluing the figurine together.

Is there anything else I should know? Don't overthink it and just get started :D
