Spent an hour on a YouTube tutorial… when all I needed was 2 minutes
Last week I was setting up payments for my product and gave LemonSqueezy a try.
Since it was my first time, I went searching for a demo video and found a 1-hour tutorial on YouTube.
The video was solid, but I didn’t really need the whole hour.
I just wanted a couple of answers:
– How do I integrate it?
– How do I test the flow?
– Which settings actually matter?
Instead, I ended up bouncing around timestamps, rewatching sections, and basically wasting time just to find what I needed.
As a fun experiment, I took that same video and made it interactive (Qudemo) - so I could search inside, ask questions, and get answers instantly instead of sitting through everything.
Not sharing this as a launch or anything, just thought it was an interesting experience.
It made me realise how much long-form tutorials hide simple answers we all need quickly.
