Update on my last post, did I make the right decision?

So yeah, had it out with Mia the other day. I told her I wasn’t cool with the way she acted when we were out — cutting me off, bringing up random embarrassing stuff, making me look like an idiot in front of him. Said it didn’t feel like a joke at all.

She just brushed it off at first, like “you’re being dramatic” and “I was only messing.” When I pushed, she admitted maybe she went a bit far, but then straight away turned it on me like I’m too sensitive and can’t take a joke. Classic.

That was kind of my lightbulb moment — she doesn’t actually care how it made me feel, it’s just about her being centre of attention. And honestly, I can’t be arsed with that anymore.

So yeah, I’m done with her. Feels a bit shit losing a mate, but I’d rather surround myself with people who aren’t gonna drag me down for a laugh. Weirdly enough, I already feel better for it.
