Volunteer Codes for Mixed Doubles

My partner and I both have a volunteer code, will we be able to use them for a mixed doubles?

Not actually sure how it works, do we buy a mixed doubles entry each and then get them paired up or is it a single transaction to purchase the 2 tickets?
