Is Succession really worth the hype it gets and if so, why?

Cuz I'm nearly done with watching The Sopranos and the next show I was originally gonna start binging next was gonna be The Wire, but I wanted to take a little break of shows that had 60+ episodes and watch something shorter. So, I decided after I finish The Sopranos I'll start on Succession since it only has like 40 episodes. But why is it beloved by everyone? I hear everyone complaining about how brilliant it is and how it's one of the greatest shows ever made, but I don't hear anyone explain why that is. So for those who seen it, why is it considered an amazing show?
