AIO for ending things with my bf after finding out he texts my little sister

(Yes i knew i orginally posted in aitah) So after many people also agreed that it was weird for him to be texting her and gave me advice on how to move forward with it i decided to talk to him today about it in person, I told him that it was rather he stops texting my sister or i was going to end things with him which he did not like, He instantly said i was weird for all of this and that he doesnt want to be with somebody who accuses him of stuff like this, i told him that i would stop bringing it up aslong as he stops texting her.

After half n hour of arguing i told him that i think its best if he leaves and that i dont think its going to work out he agreed but i received a text of him after he left, i cant put a photo for some reason so ill just put what he said underneath

“I Know we said we wasnt going to text until we had sorted arrangements out for me to pick up my stuff but i cant help myself. I love you and the fact You just threw away what we had because i was looking out for your little sister is crazy to me. So no i wont be coming to get my stuff, we will be talking this out and sorting it. im not ending stuff here after wasting almost three years of my life with you.”

is this weird? i feel kind of scared over the fact he isnt taking no for an answer?
