Audio Device Missing After Drive Wipe + Windows Reinstall
I’m going crazy right now as I was finally able to get my stupid laptop connected to the internet after several attempts at updating the drivers for its Wi-Fi adapter, but now I’m having even more trouble trying to get the audio device up and running again
In sound, video and game controllers it only lists “High Definition Audio Device”, and “High Definition Audio Controller” in System Devices and in the Sound control panel two devices are listed as “Digital Audio (HDMI) - High Definition Audio Device - Not Plugged In” - No sign of any intel or Realtek audio devices on either panel
I’ve tried every update, downloadable driver installation tool, services adjustment and more, every video or guide one could find on the internet and NOTHING has been working
I HAVE to get this taken care of before my flight early in the morning, about 14-15 hours from now, but I have a shift in a couple minutes until about six hours from now so I won’t have as much time to keep troubleshooting it, especially with all of the other stuff I need to prepare before heading out
