how do you play with yuumi support?

I'm an aphelios otp, I've played other adcs with yuumi before but I can't seem to figure out how to properly play with her. Every time I have a yuumi we're extremely pushed in and the enemy botlane play super aggro because they know it's basically just a 1v2 so it's difficult to walk up. I've tried playing aggro, I've tried farming under turrent, I've had a few times where my yuumi straight up leaves me for the jungler. No lane pressure ever so it's difficult to get objectives, It's hard to get vision too since most yuumi's I've had don't detach to ward or use supp item, hence I'm terrified to walk up.

What do you guys do if you have yuumi supp??? I feel stupid asking but I'm not a fan of dodging and I want to learn to adapt to different supps.. TY! ^_^
