Unique Drop chance, is there something to it?

So, I am new to the game. Friend and I just got it during the free trail. We liked the game and got it. We are still playing through the campaign I am level 48 and she is level 50. We are still in the Fractured Peaks because all we have been doing is side quests and dungeons.

She plays a Rouge and I a Necromancer.

She has had 5 uniques drop already and I can't even get one. The only difference I see is she is wearing all Orange level hear and I have orange/yellow. Is their something I need to do to get uniques to drop? We play together so we have all the same content done.
