Stove 2 years old rusting

I'm having an issue where recently a lot of rust has appeared just below the door of our fireplace. I was wondering would anyone know why? It's only appearing on one half of it, the other half has no rust. This is a picture of ours below:

My parents have had their stove of the same model for over 10 years now and they have no rust appearing on theirs:

Anyone know any method I could use to threat this?
