Vaccum Cleaner

Hi, Mostly carpets a 2 bed flat.

I have tried to look and get confused with choices.

Not interested in cordless one either - prefer just wiring to socket (old fashioned way and no worrying about battery/charging etc). It should have a large head (and adjustable small head to get in the corners etc).

Need something that will last me 8-10 years! Budget wise guessing £200 will suffice? I can stretch more as long you think its worth to spend on a vaccum cleaner that meets the spec above.
