The doors of stone DISCUSSION

Hi all! I’m here to ask a simple question, although I feel there is not exactly a simple answer haha. I’ve read both The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man’s Fear from beginning to finish three times each, as well as single readings of the shorter stories in this series.

Don’t get me wrong by any means, I love these books and I love Patrick’s storytelling. It’s one of a kind and is immensely enjoyable and intriguing.

But what is the general consensus, if any, that “The doors of stone” is going to be finished? While I could live with the fact that there won’t be a third book, although it would take some getting used to, I feel as though I could.

But for me it’s the not knowing if there will be a third book. I’m just curious to find out what everyone here thinks, or where they stand on the issue at hand.
