help with acetone wash question

so there is some stuff in town that is cut pretty gnarly. I'm not a user but I heard it's giving ppl the shits and fucking with their stomach pretty bad.

I've heard of cleaning the dope with acetone. I'm curious if acetone cleans out all the impurities or are there some that render the dope too far gone?
