Need advice, haven’t built a pc in over 15 years

With BF6 coming out, and the Walmart prebuilt deals, I have been itching to finally get a new PC after well over a decade. It’s tough to not go for a prebuilt with the prices right now, but I know the advantages of building yourself with better brands and upgradability and have kids now that may benefit and gain an appreciation from being a part of the build. Budget would be around $1100-$1200 including monitor, keyboard, and mouse ideally. Mostly gaming, possibly light streaming in the future, basic music production. Trying to get a good base of knowledge before prime week to keep an eye on deals. I appreciate any help/advice or parts lists.
