The phrasing of the questions on the feedback form are far from helpful in allowing anyone the opportunity to explain the ways in which they have completely flipped Arena on its head.

Initially Arena set out to slow TTK and allow the opportunity for people to have intense close quarter gun fights with unique classes. As we know, they ended up switching this and allowing people to create their own classes. This has led to some areas in which the game needed to be balanced for the sake of their competitive events and the communities desires. I'm gonna take note of the few good things I noted and then rant for a bit. I still play every other day or so and I love Tarkov, but these were some intense changes that felt like a result from strewn together data with no true purpose other than pure speculation and testing.

First off, fixing that weird reload pause issue. Thank you so much! It was a nice change to reduce the amount of meds we can use. Mostly everyone had 3-5 injectors for any given class and that felt cheesy. The changes in inertia were just enough that I had to adjust my sensitivities, so that will take some getting used to. I don't know if they really needing adjusted, personally... The spawn changes allow for a more COD-like Domination experience on checkpoint, so kudos on that. Marksman, though having a reduced weapon selection, remained the least affected by all of this. You removed the IDEA rigs, though a majority of my friends took advantage of that cheese, it was a smart decision. Assault has been blessed with MCX and 25 round mags are back for the SPEAR.

\*\*The Rant\*\*

What we have nearly two years since its release, is a totally deconstructed game that has fallen back into the same habits as every other FPS out there, leaving Tarkov a hollow shell in an already saturated genre.

No one said Enforcer needed to be buffed or nerfed—we just wanted more access to different weapon types. No one thought Marksman’s ability to use high-powered ammo with submachine guns was a bad idea, maybe adjust ammo choices, not remove altogether... You took away our delightful 25-round mags for the SPEAR, only to give them back to us? what kind of move is that? You moved the MCX to Assault when it was fine with the class it was in. Aim punch reduction is a wild decision when you want to hold the title of most hardcore game. I know plenty of people who are happy with this change, but the changes here are almost contradictory to your mission.

Look, I’m a meta SPEAR and MCX user, and these changes are ridiculous. Tons of armor rigs, plates, tac rigs and helmets are gone. You actively dismantled Enforcer and Scout kits while simultaneously buffing Assault’s playstyle—oh, but lowering our armor was supposed to be a real nerf to the class, wasn’t it?

Finally, why did you change it so more than two classes can be selected before a match? Now every single round is just going to be 3 assault classes and two others. I mean fuck, you may as well just let us go back to all running the same meta gear set with no limitations.. In trying to balance the game, you’ve broken it. Everything was much better before this update.
