Ghosted again

I had an interview for a store manager on Friday. At then end the DM said she would be sending me via email a background check form to fill out and she would send me an invite for a follow up interview to discuss details of contract on Thursday. Nothing was sent, did not respond to my email about not getting it, and past the date of follow up. I have 15 years experience (company went bankrupt) and keep getting ghosted like this. I used to hire people and never did this. Just say when you are promoting from within and there is not actually the position or that you chose someone else. I would rather have that then nothing at all and left hanging on a hope.
