“Vomiting detected in your room” call
Was just on Oasis of the Seas - this AM disembarking.
Last night of the cruise I felt tired and the seas were rough (first cruise, though I’m not typically or expected to be sea sick)
I think I ate too much the first few days and was just tired from sun wind and rocky seas the 2 last nights (seasoned cruisers would probably laugh because they weren’t bad - just listing slowly, regularly, but the slowness affected me a little)
I went to bed after dinner.
Laid down. 20 min later, the rocking got me and I did puke once but not loud, not much and flushed twice. Sorry if TMI but want to be clear
Laid back down.
10 min later, got a vomit detected call (unfamiliar voice with an accent I didn’t place) and they called me by name (which to me indicated was RC since they would know my name)
I understand the concern but I’m also concerned because I know that what occurred was not loud, not egregious, or prodigious in any way
So my question is - what is this detection mechanism?
It couldn’t have been sound. I doubt it was amount since I know others in our party had gotten actually very sick from too much booze and this was one time and quiet.
Is it video? Sound? I felt worried about the monitoring in our room.
Any knowledge?
