Gay American, honestly scared of the current climate of things in his country.

Hey, 26 year old guy here from America. I’m just wondering and looking at options around me, or how I’d even start getting into the gay culture around Australia without paying all the fees for the gay apps or seeming like a scammer. Any help is wonderful.
