FINAL FANTASY TACTICS - The Ivalice Chronicles and 'Denuvo'
I want to complain so bad .. but instead i will warn anyone who wants to buy FINAL FANTASY TACTICS - The Ivalice Chronicles to play on Linux/Steam Deck.
I'm not discouraging anyone from buying, that's your decision to make, but keep in mind the game has Denuvo. And if you have any experience with this asinine software and playing on Linux, if you switch Proton versions around to find the version that will give you the best performance/less glitched you wont be able to play the game for at least 24 hours. And yes you guessed it, this happened to me ... the reason why i had to switch it around is because all versions i tried, were not starting the game, all i got was a popup saying "OK", clicking on it would exit the game.
When Denuvo block's you, you will get an error with a box with a link. Clicking on that link will open a page (screenshot below) saying "well bad luck, seems your locked out of your game for 24hours":
Again not deterring anyone just a "fair warning"...
