Similarities between Shutdown Politics and being a BPD partner?

I've probably spent too much time steeped in news and understanding BPD, but something struck me about the recent news.

During this shutdown, the administration seems to be engaging in the same kinds of behavior as a borderline facing an unexpected enforcement of boundaries.

Between the Sombrero Video (ridicule), the open talk of accelerating Project 2025 (which was like bringing up an unspoken past infidelity along with a threat to cheat again), the alienation of military brass (attacking allies), saying that this is about 'illegal immigrants' when it's not (gaslighting), and blatant cuts to 'Democrat departments' and projects in 'Democrat states' (destructive shoot-yourself-in-the-foot damage), this all feels very much like a tantrum being thrown by a PwBPD.
