[Spoilers C4E1] C4 PC Stat Spreads

Was watching the C4 and noticed very quickly how insane the stat spreads were for the characters so I decided to see how ACTUALLY above average they were:

• The median score of all 78 stats is 15

• The average ability score across all PCs and all stats is 14.71 which is about 2.5 points higher than the average roll for stats of Roll 4d6, keep the highest 3 and about 1.3 points higher than the average of Roll 5d6 keep the highest 3 which I believe Brennan has used in D20 campaigns (have to get up to 7kh3d6 to get an average at or higher than the 14.71 of the PCs (specifically it is 14.9))

• A sample size of 78 should be more than enough to gather a vaguely accurate representation of the system used to create the stats

• the lowest average of any individual PC is Murray with an average of 13 which is still considerably above average of 4d6 drop lowest

• the highest average is Vaelus with an absurd 16.33 average stat score

• the lowest average of a specific stat is Strength with an average of 12.62

• the highest average of a specific stat is Charisma at 16.77

Truly just insane stats for level 3 characters. Does anyone know what method they used for stat assignment? I’m mostly just really curious how the average managed to be so high and Laura still managed to end up with 3 strength (like really if it was rolling for stats that would likely mean at least six 1s, potentially more if they just really inflated the stat rolls)
