Wedding gift for friend

Hello everyone,

Next week I am going to a german wedding. It is quite a fancy location (small castle of sorts) and because it's the first time I go to such an event i don't know what the gift etiquette is.

I was thinking for me and my GF 200e in a Envelope. Is that normal to do or does it need to be a specific kind of gift?
