Best gen1 looking original 3 Insecticons?

I'm fairly new to collecting again. I haven't had any Transformers in prob 25 years and the studio series has me buying up all the old school G1 looking lineup but what is the best Insecticons? I really like the Badcube ones but are the Legacy ones the next best? Are they planning on a studio series or movie remakes? any idea or suggestive would be appreciated. tyia
