I'm beginning to consider the possibility that the fnaf2 location becomes the fnaf1 location...

Theory to build on

I was chatting with some other theorists earlier today, and we had noticed some really interesting details that may suggest that after fnaf2, the building went through renovations to become the fnaf1 location.

I had always believed that the fnaf2 location was originally Fredbear's and that the fnaf1 location was its own place. However, if the fnaf2 location really did become the fnaf1 location, then a lot of my location-central theories could be simplified quite a bit.

I wanted to share my current list of evidence, lore implications, and contradictions to see what you lot think. Please feel free to use a similar format to add onto any part of my list! This is how I'm keeping everything organised for my theories now lol

Evidence: • TWB mentions the fnaf1 location getting lots of renovations, leading to several closed-off and abandoned rooms. • P&S, the office, and the stage are all in about the same places relative to the building's general layout. • TWB suggests that the fnaf1 and fnaf2 locations are at least in the same town due to the 911 operator having taken the calls for the Bite of 87. • TWB has an old "pizza sauce"-stained prize ticket from Fredbear's Family Diner. The fnaf2 location was implied to be the same building as Fredbear's im the Night 5 phone call of fnaf2. So if the fnaf2 location became the fnaf1 location, then that explains why the Fredbear's ticket is in the fnaf1 location. • SaveThem and FollowMe have similar (but not exact) minigame layouts. I'd normally say this is just due to minigame simplicity, but if you overlap the maps, the black spots on the floor of FollowMe match perfectly with the blood stains from SaveThem.

Implications: • The fnaf2 location, and thus Fredbear's, would likely have had a safe room. The same safe room. • The "old location" that was "left to rot for quite a while" mentioned in fnaf2 would not be the fnaf1 location, but would instead be the ITP location. Thus setting in stone that the fnaf1 location was not the MCI location like we previously thought (though, I'd been leaning toward this ever since ITPG released). • Fredbear's would eventually become the fnaf1 location, which actually feels sorta satisfying in a way, especially in regards to the 1983 phone code in TWB. • This simplifies my previous take on the Fazbear franchise locations, since there's now one less location to keep track of. • This opens the door to Afton potentially using the Spring Bonnie suit to do the DCI. Although, I personally still believe the Withered Fredbear springlock suit is more likely.

Contradictions/Complications: • The fnaf2 movie, potentially. Although, that's sorta handling the story differently.

Now it's your turn. What do you guys think?
