So i brought my bun on 17/7/25 and he was 1.5 month old mix breed . he was very playful and we connected instantly he would be glued with me and constantly running after me . so on 24/7/25 while i was playing with him as he was free roam bunny he would play in my entire hall so he followed me and i saw his hay was empty so i went to refill his hay for context hay was kept on a table along with my iphone 15 promax . i have back pain so i removed the hay directly from the table widout moving so while i was removing hay my bunny followed me and my iphone 15 promax fell on his back leg . and he acted normal then suddenly he stopped moving we rushed to vet and the vet told us his legs are fine like there is no fracture but his nail is hurt he immediately gave him injection antibiotics and painkiller . and he said within 5 days leo will be walking fine he gave us a antibiotic ( Doxin) to give him once a day . we came home and leo slowly kept his leg down dr told us to keep him in small space like cage no movement . so we kept him in his cage i gave him doxin (doxycycline) antibiotics mixed with water in his small bottle he only drank a lil so as per dr advice next day i gave him along with 🌿cilantro and after that within 12 hours he died . he was moving uk earlier and all he wanted was us to remove him from the cage but since dr told us not to remove we kept him inside and he died 😭😭😭 the guilt is killing me daily . and i really think it is because of the antibiotic doxin which the vet gave he was too young for that antibiotic . anyways my baby is gone and i miss him daily . my husband saw me in this state and gifted me another bunny its been 3 months with this new bunny i am healing but i still miss leo . caz i feel i failed him and its my fault he died😭😭😭
