So I got shokaku from a crate which is my first time getting one currently at tier 3. So far what I understand I need to get IJN Aircraft carriers to maximize her potential(also I got USS kheper).

So far I noticed how torps in this game is the main weapon that usually kill all warships. I got on board after I got bored a bit with WOW Blitz so don't roast me it.
