I finally got myself the ultimate barbie box set. it includes 31 barbie DVDs from the nutcracker to the great puppy adventure and the sing along DVD. I’m obsessed with how nice this box looks, but i’m gonna share you the pros and cons if you decide to buy it.

Pros: reasonable price for how many DVD you’re getting. Beautiful packaging that doubles as the doll backdrop; small size and compact so you don’t have to store each individual DVD packaging separately. The outer cardboard box feels luxurious and thick, definitely something you wanna hold on to.

Cons: the pink paper holder that helps the sleeves stand have mostly ripped apart, I assume that this is due to the age of this set, which’d be around 9-10 years old so there’s some rough movements during transit that might’ve caused that. The packaging itself is also pesky to close/open and you have to position everything a certain way to close it properly. The DVDs were stored in the cheap cardboard paper sleeves and I’ve noticed minor scratches which made me move all of them to a binder with softer sleeves. And the DVDs weren’t even stored in chronological order anyway so it bothered me a little.

I know it seems like there are quite a bit of cons but I don’t think it’s really that bad, ultimately I think we got what we needed the most, and it’s basically all the DVDs in there. Now I get to watch all these barbie movies with the original authentic DVDs. The box itself does feel like a novelty and a magic within itself how you just open it and see all the movies in there.
