Where is the info on anniversary TBC?

I’m curious for those of you who played Classic Era going into TBC back in 2019- how was the info given about server structure? Were there any fresh servers in TBC? Did Blizzard give any info on boosting ahead of time? Because there was some boosting and other stuff I don't remember the qq about that

This isn’t meant to be a debate on why fresh servers are bad or why GDKP is burning a hole in your pocket IRL, i’m just asking how it was handled for people who were around back then. Was the info as poor as now?

It just feels crazy to me that we had detailed retail info like 8 months out and now we’re maybe 2 months (or less) from pre-patch and still not a single word from Blizzard more than the vague road-map.

Where ya at person with a friend of a friend that works at Blizzard?
What can you do for me guy that used to work at blizzard?
I'm trying to plan a winter here because this is the last time I probably will be able to play classic, or even classic TBC.
