What do social services do if they find out a child is self harming?

I’m sorry I don’t know if this is the right place but recently social services was called on my parents because of stuff I’d shared with my old therapist, the investigation is mainly to check if I’m being neglected (im not)

however a lot of questions are being asked about my mental health and they keep playing around the idea of self injury and other subjects, I know eventually they’re gonna ask if I’ve ever self harmed and I want to tell them the truth but I’m worried if I tell them that I’ve been self harming they might take me away from my parents or punish my parents for it and I don’t know what to do but I really need help.

has anyone ever been in this situation before or had a child that has?

(I’ve never told my parents or anyone about my self harm and I’ve hid it for the past 5 years, I’ve never hurt myself because of them or because of something they’ve said)
