Carrying around a Single Tarot Card!! HELP!

Guys, I think I might be in a bit of trouble. I have been carrying a single tarot card in my wallet for about a year now, its the 'eight of wands'. someone gave it to me as a parting gift.

For the past years i have been in emotional turmoil due to a lot of reasons, but i wonder if this is affecting my life somehow. I am not sure how much I want to believe in tarot but if this is affecting me in anyway, i am ready to remedy this.

If there is a way to part ways with the card, how do I do it without disrespcting the original deck or any energy out there
