Port removal

I have one more round of chemo left… ugh…

But my interim PET scan went from a deauville score of 5 to a 1, plus no active disease — fantastic!

Yet, my oncologist wants me to wait one year to get my port out. I don’t think I can wait that long for 2 reasons:

1. I’m not superstitious like she is, and I want the memory of this removed sooner than later.

2. I want to play tennis and freely begin doing upper body workouts again.

Any thoughts and/or advice would be great. 😊
