How does applying work if my final LSAT attempt is in January but I’ve already tested before?

I’m planning on applying this cycle (apps in by November), but my final LSAT attempt will be in January. I’ve already taken the LSAT , so schools will my previous score on record (153) when I apply. My question is: how do schools handle this?

  • Will they review my application now with my current score, and then automatically update it once the January score comes in?
  • Or do they hold off reviewing until that January score is released?
  • Do I need to let them know I’m retaking, or does LSAC automatically flag it?

Let me know!
