Ableton for Scoring

I’ve used Ableton as my primary DAW for 10+ years. Recently, I’ve gotten into television scoring and, despite trying to learn other DAWs like Logic, I’ve returned to Ableton because it’s so great. That said, it’s missing a few very basic things that would make it a perfect tool for media composers (#1 being timecode integration).

Any idea why Ableton isn’t interested in adding these things? I do see some composers (like the white lotus guy) using Ableton for scoring, but I think they have to pair it with another DAW. Why is this not an area of interest for Ableton? Any theories or explanation as to why none of their updates ever add features for media composing?
