[M4F] A second chance at being Mother…and more? (Looking for a literate, patient and articulate F.)

As the charity event at Google's office comes to a close, Meena, the well-known activist, approaches the stage to thank the attendees. She's been running a successful NGO to reconnect lost children with their parents after she herself, lost her own son. By sheer bad luck she got off of the train and the train left in the middle of the night, leaving her son inside. So they are separated with nothing but his mother's purse and a very old photo of her inside. And since it was early 90s, there was no internet and Facebook and no one cared about a random orphan looking kid on a random train station.

I, the son, grew up in an orphanage, became a successful software engineer at Google, earned myself a name and became affluent. Meanwhile, the mother heartbroken and grieve-stricken in years, starts an NGO that fights to unite broken families. I see you and see a striking resemblance of my mother who abandoned me. And those age old questions that lingered in my mind ever since I got off the last station of the train, "Was I not a good son to her? Did I do something wrong?" Anyways, I was drawn to Meena's passionate speech and charismatic presence. As I watched you from across the room, I can't help but feel a deep sense of familiarity. The crowd fades away, after the event and I thought I might just reach out to appreciate your NGO and your efforts.

Meena shares her story of starting the NGO, and I open up about my own struggles and achievements but don't reveal exactly of the details of how I ended up in an orphanage, yet.

Little do we know, the past is about to catch up with them in a way they never could have imagined. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles in their path and find love in the most unexpected of places? Open to interpretations of this could but I hope I was able to catch your eye.
