UCL Politics and IR with a history and politics statement

I know they have an HPE program but I'm not really interested in economics nor the fact that it is done within the school for slavonic studies and that that's the emphasis of the program. nor am I particularly interested in just the history and politics of the americas. my statement largely revolves around political theory, power structures and historiography but I do talk also talk about an article that I wrote for a social sciences journal on IR history. grades aside, would my statement be good enough for a politics and IR or history degree at UCL? are there any other courses there that might eb a good fit for me?
