A huge win on my end!

Celebration

I have been publicly transgender for about five years. Starting with just my friends and managed to have my college and now Uni life as my preferred name and gender etc. The entire time it was one glaring issue. Home.

My mother was really against my name change and everything. However, she cared enough about her image that she simply refused to let me be called Lucas at home and at family events but my dad has had enough!

My dad has always been in my corner and has now decided that he's gonna call me Lucas at home no matter what my mum tries to pull. He also gave my grandma (his mum) the go ahead to use my preferred name no matter how my mum reacts. I feel so happy right now!
